I can understand that and think it's important to think about, but as a bit of a counterpoint - the average highly engaging Youtube video length seems to be 10-20 minutes?
They're certainly fast paced (and jump cut together), but in some ways this could be interpreted as a higher density way to communicate information.
I know I often listen to podcasts/etc on 2x speed and I often wonder if that's an improvement over how quickly we could mentally process things vs the past.

Totally - to be honest I think short form already is changing how people consume content and Iād put money on us having a creator President in the next 30 years.
But in the same breath, every media change makes people think the death of thinking is at hand... all the way back to Socrates. He thought the written word was a terrible way to communicate ideas because it would āimplant forgetfulness in their soulsā š
This is a reality.....I feel like Iām not a huge fan of this creator economy
