I don’t know who needs to hear this today (besides me), but sometimes you just need to simplify everything down to the core goal.

Details are fun.

You need to dive into them to be thorough with competitive analysis, to build world class experiences, and even just to see the world as it truly is (or as best we can with our limited biology).

But for a lot of really big ideas, the details don’t matter…at least not yet.

So stop digging into them for now. You’ll have time to figure them out later.

Take a step back and orient yourself on the thing that actually matters.

For the biggest tasks on your mind right now:

What’s the most important one?

What’s the one sentence version of your goal end state of that task?

What’s the next thing you need to do to bring that reality to life?

Do it.
